Inclement Weather Plan: In the case of inclement weather in Gwinnett County on club meeting dates, clubs will be canceled. If any additional cancellations need to be made, cancellations will be announced during afternoon bus dismissal announcements.
BMS Student Council
Mission/Purpose: School Council is a school-wide organization to promote student involvement, leadership, and citizenship in our school in order to give students a voice. Students will learn the democratic process, the appropriate ways to affect change, and develop their ability to represent the student body and interact with the adults in our school and community.

Flute Choir
Mission/Purpose: This year Berkmar Middle School will have a flute choir, which will provide students the opportunity to perform in a small ensemble, as well as develop musicianship and instrumental technique.

Target Audience: 7thand 8th-grade students who are currently playing flute in the Berkmar Middle School Band.

Girls Soccer Club
Mission/Purpose: The Girls Soccer Club is open to all girls in grades 6 through 8 who are interested in building their skills, working as a team, and having fun on the field. No prior experience is necessary, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn!
All students who plan to join must complete the required forms through Rank One. This includes both the Insurance and Physical forms. These forms must be submitted by December 19, 2025 to be eligible to participate.
Tryout dates are to be determined and will be shared as soon as they are finalized.

Jr. Beta

Readers Rally
Mission/Purpose: Main purpose is to encourage reading and diversify the selection of books students read.
Students read books from a selected list and compete by answering questions based on those titles. Each school in Gwinnett County may send one team of up to 10 students to represent them in the event.

Science Club
Mission/Purpose: The primary purpose of the Science Fair Club is to engage students in authentic scientific inquiry, encourage the application of the scientific method, and provide a professional space for students to showcase their projects. Science fair clubs also aim to foster a love for science, develop problem-solving skills, and inspire students to pursue scientific careers.

Yearbook Club
Mission/Purpose: To teach students the needed techniques and teamwork to complete and produce a product (yearbook). Students will be in charge of creating the yearbook layout, taking pictures at school functions, and adding any necessary pages into the yearbook. Students will also be in charge of marketing and selling the yearbook.
