The mission and vision of Berkmar Middle School Library Media Center is to provide a rich and varied collection of resources for the students, impart the knowledge and skills to use these resources, create an atmosphere of learning that fosters and promotes reading and lifelong learning, and formulate and successfully execute instructional guidelines and goals.

If they start reading 20 minutes per night in kindergarten, by the end of 6th grade, Student A will have read for the equivalent of 60 school days. Student B will have read for 12 school days, and Student C will have read for 3 days.
