Digital Learning Days
GCPS has four Digital Learning Days built into the school calendar. On these four planned DLDs, all students will learn from home, completing assignments at their own pace. Students should plan ahead to ensure they have their district-issued devices at home for planned DLDs.
During the school year, teachers will share additional information with students about Digital Learning Days, including how they will support student learning during the day. (For example, some teachers may set up a discussion board while others may use online conference tools or be available via phone). Parents and students who need a refresher course on how to access eCLASS C&I can go to the district website for helpful resources and information.
How does an Inclement Weather Digital Learning Day work?
- Berkmar Middle School teachers will post assignments by 9:00 a.m on their eCLASS course page.
- Students will log in to the My eCLASS portal and click on the eClass C&I course pages. (The image below shows what the button looks like that students will click.)
- Students will access assignments, resources, and other materials on their teacher's eCLASS page and/or Google Classroom.
