A message from our principal, Ms. Felecia C. Jones
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! Each new year brings the excitement of a fresh start, and I am honored to lead our vibrant, diverse community with a renewed commitment to relationships, academic excellence, and shared success. With more than 27 years in education, a journey that began right in a sixth-grade classroom, my mission remains unchanged: to positively impact students' lives through high expectations, rigorous instruction, and unwavering support.
At Berkmar, our incredible staff is dedicated to helping every student grow into a thoughtful, confident leader. Whether your child is walking through our doors for the first time or stepping into their final year of middle school, we are here to ensure they are safe, supported, and challenged. We want each student to feel ready for the day, respectful of themselves and others, and responsible for their learning and choices.
True success requires a strong partnership between home and school, and we invite you to stay actively involved through our Parent Center, the PTSA, and volunteer opportunities. Your engagement drives our collective success, and we are thrilled to partner with you every step of the way. Thank you for entrusting us with your children.
